Vintage specs... but not fully.
On paper this fits any vintage Fender-style guitar. Unfortunately, for some reason, Gotoh decided to slightly widen the base of the shaft, which means the machine heads don't go all the way in, even though the shaft itself is the right format. The final half mm that doesn't go in, preventing drop-in replacement and full contact with the head of the guitar. This can easily be solved by widening the hole in the wood by half a millimeter, which I'm not willing to do on a Custom Shop Fender. So no huge technical problem, it's just a very weird design.
