DiMarzio D Activator 8 Bridge DP820

The sound is good as far as I'm concerned. It is a very sharp almost brittle sound, which gives good clarity and attack. Note that it might be linked to the guitar's longer scale as well (28"). It is a bit hard to evaluate what is does for the lower strings because I still need to find the right setup for the guitar, but in general expect a good bite, very few muddiness, something that will be appreciated in a modern metal / djenty sound.
I only wish they came with accessories such as shorter springs for direct mounting, maybe pickup frames...
