Cordoba C5 CE Lefthand Iberia

Habe für meinen Sohn (Linkshänder) die Cordoba C5 CE Lefthand gekauft. Er spielt seit 10 Jahren Gitarre solo und bei Auftritten. Entscheidend für den Kauf neben Linkshändisch der eingebaute Tonabnehmer. Gefallen hat auch das Äußere und die Verarbeitung. Die zugehörige Tasche macht auch etwas her - einziger Kritikpunkt: die Pins für den Gitarrengurt am Corpus musste ich selbst anschrauben - nicht alle Konzerte werden im Sitzen gespielt :-). Fazit: Die Cordoba C5 CE Lefthand ist ihr Geld wert und und enttäuscht auch beim Klang nicht.

Die Gitarre ist einigermaßen gut verarbeitet. Saitenlage und Halskrümmung sind ok, die Mechaniken gut. Die Halskrümmung lässt sich einstellen. Der passende Inbusschlüssel ist im Lieferumfang. Vor allem ist die Gitarre mit 1.500g (3.3 lbs) eher leicht.

Die Bünde hingegen sind schlecht abgerichtet, so dass einzelne Töne, bspw. die A-Saite im dritten Bund leicht schnarren. Zudem hat das Griffbrett mehrere "tote" Stellen, an denen die Töne kaum bzw. sehr leise klingen. Thomann verweist darauf, dass Gitarren vor dem Versand ggf. beim Hersteller gecheckt und eingestellt werden, nach dem Motto "Nimm du ihn, ich hab ihn sicher!". Ich werde versuchen, die Mängel beim nächsten Saitenwechsel selbst zu beheben.

Als weiteren Nachteil empfinde ich das Fehlen eines Gurtpins. Die Gitarre muss also im Sitzen gespielt werden oder man bringt selbst eine geeignete Gurthalterung an.

Noch ein Punkt, den ich erwähnen sollte, nachdem ein andere Käufer bereits die tolle Tasche gelobt hat. Ich muss leider anmerken, dass die Cordoba C5 CE mittlerweile OHNE Tasche ausgeliefert wird. Also: Ggf. Tasche extra bestellen!

Ach ja, ich bewerte hier die Cordoba C5 CE Lefthand. Ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass meine Bewertung sich auf die Rechtshänderversion übertragen lässt.

After viewing the specs and listening to the audio demos on the site, I decided to take the plunge and buy this guitar. I'm a professional guitarist and studio musician so I wanted a guitar to handle studio and performance duties. The C5 CE delivers. Well built beautiful, sound. The only changes I made was to have the edges of the fret smooth down and the strings lowered, which were a bit too high for my personal tastes. I like my strings low as possible, for two hand tapping, etc. After making the changes I'm now extremely happy with this guitar. Lovely to look at, awesome feel and the built in tuner is also very practical and cool. It's early days yet, so I'll give an update in a couple of months, but so far I'm very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended. Now back to Bouree in E minor.

I bought this guitar mainly because it has this lovely catway and my teacher told me he played once Cordoba and it was amazing. I have to admit that sound is really good, deep and reach. Also the way it is build and finished is just perfect. I have it for 3 of 4 years already and it keeps it high quality. However there is one position in which cables inside make annoying noise bumping against the front side and it's really difficult to spot and fix it. Also battery socket lit has broken really quickly and I had to workaround it. So this guitar is mainly for recording and you should keep it in mind. The quality of recorded sound is very satisfying although I haven't use it a lot so I cannot really comment on that. It's not of one of the cheapest model. So if you don't looking for instrument perfect for recording/amplification it may not be worth that big money. Next time I would rather bought some Admira without fisherman pickups two times cheaper.
