Ich suchte nach einem kleinen portablen Equalizer, um bei privaten Veranstaltungen die Funkmikros etwas besser einstellen zu können, statt nur mit der klassischen 3Band Klangregelung am DJ-Mixer. Besonders interessiert war ich hier über die Funktion des Low-Cut-Filters.
Nun zur Bewertung: Die Schieberegler sind, wie nicht anders in dieser Preisregion zu erwarten, nicht gerade die Besten, quietschen ein wenig und haben in ihrer Funktion einzeln auch keinen wirklich hörbaren Unterschied, wenn man sie nur zu 30% bewegt. Bei größeren Bewegungen (was auf Grund der schon geringen Gesamtgröße nicht viel ist) hört man dann doch eine Veränderung im Klangspektrum. Die Taster sind grausam, da man beim Drücken neben dem Quietschgeräusch auch das Billig-Produkt (Taster) erfühlen kann. Wer andere Tontechnik-Produkte mit hoch- und oder höherwertiger Verarbeitung kennt, wird wissen was ich meine. Dennoch sind die Funktionen teilweise gut im Unterschied hörbar - also gut so.
Ich gebe dem Produkt (auf Grund des günstigen Preis) im Gesamten ein Ok-Gut, da es tatsächlich meine Wunschvorstellung der Klangveränderung erreichen kann und dabei noch mehr Funktionen bietet, welche manch deutlich teurere Geräte nicht inne haben.
Fazit: Nicht übermäßig begeistert, jedoch recht zufrieden.

Use case: got it for tonal control of my speakers at my desk, as a person with a very sloped hearing curve.

I was on the fence for too long. This one does the job good enough at a considerable lower price and smaller form factor compared to other options. But it does only go as far as what your speakers are capable of. It does not replace a sub to fully get the lows out of the main speakers. And for more than +/-12 dB you have to stack two of them.

The good:
* It is a +/- 12 dB EQ with capable of EQ:ing stereo sound
* No left/right control => fewer sliders to operate
* 9 sliders is enough for tonal control
* Comes with a volume knob, so adjusting volume and tonality can be in the same proximity of space
* Relatively compact size
* Simple to use

The less good:
* The volume knob has steps, so it is not great for precise or sliding (over time) volume adjustment.
* The sliders emit some sparkling sound at certain spots. Eg. sliding them slowly as music plays for more emotional adjustment is not great.
* The sliders are also a bit short physically to do very precise adjustments
* No passthrough button, so you have to physically revert all sliders to baseline if you wish to bypass the EQ temporarily.
* You cannot turn off the lights, but I found that having it on my desk, next to my computer monitor isn't too distracting - and if it does, you could use some electric tape to cover the volume indicator lights.

Neutral:
* As there is no memory on the device, you eventually develop a sense of what settings you want for certain situations and become better and better at guessing the settings you want for certain moods or sound. No memory kinda adds to using it for tonal control and like an instrument to modulate the sound.
