Alesis Nitro Pro XL Drum Kit

Ich habe nach einigen Online Videos und Berichten mich für dieses Set zum (späten) Einstieg in die Drummerwelt entschieden und es bislang nicht bereut.
Das e-Drumset benötigt wenig Stellfläche und lässt sich an aktive Monitorboxen oder Stereoanlagen anschließen (entsprechende Kabel sind extra zu bestellen)
Wahlweise auch mit Kopfhörer zum Schutz der Ohren anderer.
Der zentrale Drumcomputer verbirgt eine Vielfalt unterstützender Funktionen zur Entwicklung eines guten Taktgefühls, den Mitspielen zu Rhythmusfolgen und nach Reifung dem Playalong ganzer abgespeicherter Songs.
Inkludierte zeitlich begrenzte Abos von Online Drumschulen sind echter Mehrwert, den ich aber noch gar nicht benutzt habe, da die integrierten Lernmöglichkeiten und freien Angebote auf youtube umfassend sind.

Begeistern kann der Sound des Nitro pro XL und die Vielzahl der Soundsets, insbesondere was die Mesh-bestückten Bassdrum, Toms und Snare betrifft. Mein einziger Abstrich betrifft die Imitation der Becken, die zwar mit den Fingern im Nachklang abstoppbar (choke) sind, aber nur einen Klang erzeugen aufgrund fehlender weiterer sensitiver Stellen. Schade, das hätte es perfekt gemacht.
Über das Drummodul lassen sich nicht nur etliche Parameter zu den einzelnen zugeordneten Sounds variieren, sondern auch ganz neue Drumsets aus über 500 Soundbars kreieren und abspeichern.

Eine Kombination mit der kostenfreien BFD Software auf dem Notebook lässt in Verbindung mit dem USB Midi Anschluss (Kabel auch hier extra) zusätzliche fulminante Drumsounds erklingen, die Profisets in nichts nachstehen. Leider ist die mehrstufige Installation über InMusic nicht beschrieben und etwas sperrig, die Hilfe des Alesis Services aber prompt und gut. (Hallo alesis: Ein Handbuch in Deutsch zum Drummmodul wäre echt nett) Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Das Ganze gibt es bislang (noch) nicht als komplette Kombi, so dass ich mir noch einen Drumthrone (Hocker) dazu bestellte.
Auch hier gilt - wie für das alesis Nitro pro XL - im Vergleich von günstigerem Mitangebot:
Besser ein paar Euro mehr investieren, denn manchmal kann Sparen an der falschen Stelle sich schnell rächen.

Fazit zum alesis Nitro pro XL:
Meine Empfehlung, gerade - aber nicht nur - für Anfänger.

After 8 years without a drum kit I am not disappointed with this purchase at all, it is the best purchase ever.
My old set was a Roland TD 7 with the old rubber pads, and what a difference this is with the mesh heads!
After comparing various sets also with the Roland sets for me the Alesis Nitro Pro XL Drum Kit is absolutely the best purchase to get started again with a completely complete set. Good value for money.

I bought the Alesis Nitro Pro XL set as birthday gift for my son.
The equipment was 3 days after the purchase at home - just to have the long weekend to test it. Given that it was shipped from Germany to Belgium and the UPS system had issues, this was amazing fast.

Unboxing and setup took about 1 hour.
I only found the manuals for the Nitro Pro but didn't find the manuals for the Nitro Pro XL. However, there is a paper version of each manual included in the box.

I bought the set after watching different reviews of the Nitro Max and Pro (with and without XL). The quality of the materials and the workmanship are very good.

The set includes the drum set and a voucher for a 90 day test for Drumeo (platform with tutorials and lessons to learn playing drum sets).

I needed to contact Thomann support to clarify shipping provider and procedure: very friendly and professional.
It was very easy to explain my concern and the supporter was able to help directly.

Since my son is a beginner I cannot say anything viable about the properties or usability of the equipment. However there are many reviews available online that explain the properties of the drum set much better and more professional than I possibly could.

Because of the good shopping experience and the excellent support I will buy from Thomann again.
