no idea why anyone would need or want any of the "better" models (unless the goal is field recording with built in mics), the h1 has everything one could want: 32 bit recording (so there is no level to set or worry about!), you can use a mini-jack to rca cable to connect the the 3.5mm input on the recorder to mixer rec out but I prefer to use the combo xlr / trs inputs with a TR to RCA cable instead, can be powered from usb-c port or batteries (I prefer to use the usb-c power with rechargeable batteries as backup)
