If you don't have one of this or from another brand, you are missing out one small gadget that I use every day and recommend to everyone that plays at home.

You plug it in the guitar with the headphones plugged and just turn it on and start playing!

You have to check some video guide online, because there is little instructions in the package..
I hope the brand does a new version, where they include a instructions manual.

That's said, you have a lot of options to set it up.

I mainly use it in distortion mode.

As for the quality, is made mostly of plastic that's seems ok.
But the let down was to see that they use stickers for the amp part, this could have been painted and be part of the main design.
The sticker gives a cheap feeling to the whole device.

I still recommend it, as it is very useful to play quietly while still hearing the sound as it was from a really good amp.

Für unter 50 € sind diese Teile schlicht unwiderstehlich. Hat man einmal einen, möchte man am liebsten gleich mehrere besitzen: einen im Gigbag, einen im Koffer, einen auf dem Schreibtisch oder einfach griffbereit bei der Gitarre. Überall dort, wo man ein paar Minuten Zeit hat oder eine Idee festhalten möchte. Der Spaßfaktor ist enorm.

Klanglich ist das AmPlug 3 Boutique überraschend gut – nicht nur „für den Preis“, sondern ganz objektiv. Die Dynamik ist hervorragend, man hört deutlich Unterschiede zwischen Gitarren, Pickups und Elektronik. Volumen- und Tonpoti reagieren natürlich, Anschlag und Spielweise werden sauber übertragen. Es ersetzt keinen Amp oder Modeler, ist aber perfekt zum Üben oder um Ideen schnell hörbar zu machen.

Die Bedienung ist allerdings etwas unnötig und teils unübersichtlich. Das Metronom/Drum-Feature wirkt überflüssig, da Beat-Auswahl und Tempo wenig intuitiv sind. Der einzelne Reverb ist okay, mehr braucht es hier aber auch nicht. Die zwei Kanäle (Clean und Drive) sind sinnvoll, wobei der Clean-Kanal sehr weich und bassstark ist und kleine oder günstige Kopfhörer schnell überfordert – mit größeren Lautsprechern oder guten Kopfhörern klingt er dagegen hervorragend.

Der einzige echte Kritikpunkt ist die Batterielaufzeit von etwa 4–5 Stunden sowie die Tatsache, dass man das Ausschalten leicht vergisst. AAA-Batterien sollte man also immer auf Vorrat haben.
