My guitar is a rather cheap of the shelf model, so maybe these strings are perfect in other ears on another guitar, they just don't cut it for me

They have a lower tension than normal strings. They feel and sound really good.
Drop and open Tunings are no problem.
Just don't strum to hard with them. It will kill the G-string.
