Etant guitariste depuis une dizaine d'années j'ai voulu essayer le violon par curiosité. Je ne voulais donc pas investir beaucoup d'argent pour ce premier contact. J'ai donc choisi cet instrument pour son prix uniquement.
Je suis très agréablement surpris par la qualité de fabrication. Je n'ai trouvé aucun défaut. Tout est bien aligné, les finitions sont très bonnes et le violon est beaucoup plus joli que sur la photo. Le dos est presque flammé. Le vernis est mat mais assez fin et bien appliqué.
Le chevalet est arrivé monté. Je n'ai donc eu qu'à accorder le violon ce qui n'a pas été difficile avec un accordeur chromatique dont je me sers pour mes guitares. Les chevilles tiennent bien l'accord.
Bien sûr les matériaux ne sont pas haut de gamme, pas d'ébène mais du bois teinté en noir, cordier et mentonnière en plastique, table, fond et éclisses en contreplaqué.
Cependant à l'essai la projection est très grande, cela sonne beaucoup plus fort qu'une guitare puissante.
Je ne suis pas capable de juger la beauté du son. Il parait qu'il vaut mieux changer les cordes mais pour commencer les cordes d'origines fonctionnent bien.
L'archet fourni marche bien après l'avoir tendu et bien frotté sur le bloc de colophane. La colophane fournie me semble très correcte. En tout cas aucun problème pour faire sortir du son de l'instrument.
L'étui fourni est de bonne qualité et protège très bien.
Pour 59 € je ne pouvais pas rêver mieux que ce violon qui est une très bonne affaire.
