Just received this bow, which I intended to use as a spare as my regular bow needs rehairing, but unable to do this under lockdown. I'm primarily a jazz piz. style player, but have recently been playing in a classical orchestra. My original wooden bow is supposed to be quite good quality, but in my opinion, this cheap carbon bow is superior in tone and ease of use. The bow is light and responsive and is remarkably good quality considering the price. So far, there is nothing I dislike about this bow and for the prive, it's amazingly good value. Highly recommended.
Also, congratulations to all the staff at Thomann for their friendly advice and efficiency.

Cette archet en synthétique est un très bon investissement pour qui veut se mettre à l' archet.
La fabrication est tout à fait correct et ce type d' archet est toujours bien meilleur que les archet bois qu'on trouvait il y a 20 ans pour débuter (et qui était bien plus chère).
Un archet 4/4 est la taille à choisir (même si votre contrebasse est une 3/4) et il est de type français pour être joué façon violoncelle.
On prendra soin d'appliquer de la colophane ce est indispensable pour pouvoir accrocher les cordes et sortir le moindre son; quelque soit le prix de l' archet...
L' exemplaire que j' ai reçu dispose d' un réglage de tension du crin qui est très souple, fluide et précis ce qui est appréciable.
Un bon achat au bon prix. Merci Thomann
