Effortless cables of all lengths. The construction of the jack pieces is excellent. Making straight-end cables is super fast, and it is only a little more fiddly to set them angled. I got these partly just for board planning, and it's great to just experiment with different neat setups without having to commit to soldering a cable. Even now that I'm ready to set and forget my board, I see no reason to replace some of the cables I've made as I am getting no noise at all and no noticeable degradation in signal.
In fact, I will order another set of these just so that I have a load of spares for any time I need to experiment or just make a fast replacement cable if a soldered cable fails.
I'm very pleased and see no cons.

Perfect neat solution for a pedalboard

The cable + plugs are good quality - very neat plugs with a small footprint and a choice of angled/straight orientation. It's very easy to make up the leads. They made a neat job of wiring up a small pedalboard.

The only downside is that before the cables are made up, the screws in the plugs have nothing to bite on and are prone to working loose and dropping out, so you have to be careful not to lose them when opening the packaging. Once the cables are made up there is no problem, they are very solid.

I bought 3 packs of these to cable up my pedalboard. Big mistake.
I spent a bit of time putting together the first 5 before trying any of them, they all failed (right angle one side, straight the other).
I got my multimeter out and the tips all worked, but due to the screw going through the wire to hold it in place the body was shorting them all out.
I managed to get a couple working, but only the straight to straight ones.
Very, very frustrating and a complete waste of over £100 and my time.
Not a happy bunny.

Pedalboard building made easy!

Rockboard solderless patch cables have been used on all my boards for years now and have never let me down!

The little grub screw is a bit fiddly but apart from that these are the best solderless patch cables around in my opinion.
