Meinl 12" Classic Custom Trash Stack

I play open handed, so I like to have two voices for every type of cymbal on either side of my kit. I use a 16 over 18 stack on my right side, so I wanted something smaller, higher-pitched and "quicker" on my left. These are perfect for that.

You can have them loose and they have a very cutting, trashy sound to them. Great for accents or for keeping time on in the right context.

Or you can tighten them and have a very quick and crisp note, perfect for playing between these and the hi-hat. Also a really cool sound to use in linear fills.

You can also change the way you stack them for some different sounds, or even change out the splash on top if you want to personalise them a little bit. Experiment and have fun with them.

Being B10, they are very bright and can in some cases be rather jarring. But by the same token, it allows them to cut through loud distorted and down tuned guitars with ease.

Overall they are great accent cymbals or time keeper if you wish to use them that way. They are plenty loud and cut through nicely in the right setting. But they can be a little sharp if used in the wrong context. I highly recommend these to anyone that needs a pretty well priced stack.

J'aime bien ce stacks mais j'ai dû recevoir une sélection de cymbale un peu moins bonne.
J'avais une harmonique indésirable aigu peu importe le serrage.
Du coup je l'ai enlevé en mettant un morceau de chiffon.
Mais c'est vraiment bien. Le batteur Arthur Hnatek l'intègre très bien dans son jeux notamment sur l'album Mockroot de Tigran Hamasyan que je vous conseille ;)

Ich habe etwas Zeit gebraucht die Becken richtig einzusetzen. Mir gefällt es, wenn die Stackbecken relativ fest zusammengeschraubt sind und man diese nicht mega hart anspielt. Dann ergibt sich ein kurzer zischender Sound, was beim grooven einfach Spaß macht und ein cooler Effekt ist. Zu lose klingt es mir zu trashig, aber auch das ist ja Geschmacksache. Ich nutze die Stacks im Funk/Rock- und Elektrobereich. Kauf hat sich gelohnt, möchte ich nicht mehr missen.
