La Mancha Rubi CM Fishbone Edition

I had been looking at this guitar for a long time as it sounded so mellow on the Thomann recording, especially the classical music. I like the materials it is made of and had heard that La Mancha make really good guitars, for intermediate and well as beginner players which attracted me as a beginner who wants to improve and thus was a step up. I couldn't afford more than €300 max and the price of this one was perfect, allowing me to buy a Thomann guitar bag as well so my old guitar could stay in its bag and be safe. The top is solid cedar, my h better than my old beginner guitar and I like the fishbone rosette and binding. I am now using the guitar to continue my lessons with Yousician and it's sound is beautiful even if my playing isn't always so great!

Ich spiele seit mehr als 30 Jahren E- und Westerngitarre, habe aber noch nie eine Konzertgitarre besessen. Diese Lücke wollte ich schließen. Dabei war mir wichtig, ein qualitativ gutes Instrument zu einem überschaubaren Preis zu erhalten. Bei meiner Recherche bin ich auf die Rubi CM Fishbone Edition gestoßen, die mich im Vergleich zur regulären und nur unwesentlich günstigeren Rubi CM vor allem wegen des Palisandergriffbretts angesprochen hat. Nachdem das Instrument nun seit ein paar Tagen im (hobbymäßigen) Einsatz ist, kann ich sagen, dass meine Erwartungen klar übertroffen wurden. Die Gitarre ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der sehr saubere Sattel und die makellose Bundierung. Die verwendeten Hölzer wirken wertig. Die Stimmmechaniken machen genau das, was sie sollen. Die Saitenlage, die man bei einer Konzertgitarre ohne Halsspannstab ja nicht ohne Weiteres verändern kann, ist für meine Begriffe ebenfalls gut (am 12. Bund der hohen E-Saite ca. 3,5 mm Abstand zwischen der Oberkante des Bundes und der Unterkante der Saite). Mit dem Klang bin ich sehr zufrieden. Das aus meiner Sicht Wichtigste: Die Gitarre fühlt sich gut an und es macht Spaß, darauf zu spielen.

First of all, I'm not a pro. But let me tell you how this beautiful guitar would probably be your most precious companion. My previous guitar was a Yamaha C-40 which did the job very well to begin with. But after a while I started to be bothered by the sound. The ears becomes more refined and so does the guitarist... After searching on Thomman my eye was drawn to the specifications of LA MANCHA guitars. I'm ordering a bit blindly but I'm crossing my fingers that I haven't made a bad choice. Once I receive the guitar like a child receiving Christmas gift, I tear off the packaging, tune it and start playing... And then the magic happens. Incredible sound, softness, slim neck we have the impression of being better, the chords go better and are more fluid, the playing is also more fluid. The choice of strings is extremely relevant. WE LET OURSELVES BE CARRIED BY THE GUITAR. we ask her for more so at first it's true we're excited but she's a little shy. She manages to calm us down, requires us to play more kindly, more gently... And she ends up delicately opening up day by day.
I knew nothing about this brand and I can tell you that from now on I will be a loyal fan because in addition to being perfectly well balanced, they are simply magnificent in terms of finish and assembly. It looks like a guitar for over 1000€.

Be careful though, a small downside, we feel the fragility that emerges from it, you will have to be very, very careful....

Cuando recibí la Rubí, fue un desencanto. Sonido apagado, trastes que no parecen estar bien pulidos y generan mucho ruido al estirar las cuerdas... Después de un par de semanas tengo que cambiar mi crítica. La guitarra ha mejorado mucho, el diapasón es lo mejor, igual que en la granito, plano, cómodo, y sobre todo, muy preciso.

Casi parece un piano. Entiendo por qué es un modelo recomendado para estudiantes, los acordes que con la Gewa son difíciles de precisar, aquí resultan naturales. El color de la madera de palisandro se va embelleciendo y las cuerdas cada vez suenan con más naturalidad. El volumen de la guitarra es grande, sigue pecando de notas altas más limpias, pero cada vez va a mejor. Por lo que veo, La Mancha es una gran marca que hace guitarras impecablemente manufacturadas. Todo está impecable, cuando tienes otras guitarras te das cuenta de ello. Supongo que tuve la "desgracia", de probar recientemente guitarras de mucho más nivel y me decepcionó la rubí... pero la diferencia era de un cero a la derecha.

Ahora bajaré un poco la altura de lascuerdas y puliré los trastes, después de eso la guitarra quedará excelente. Siento si alguien leyó mi valoración anterior y desechó la compra. Era una guitarra que tenía para devolver, pero ya no voy a hacerlo. Cuando miro el diapasón tan excelente al tocar, ya me siento feliz. Gracias a Thomann por toda la gestión de compra y devolución. Edito años después para alentar a cualquiera que esté buscando una guitarra por debajo de los 300 euros para recomendar claramente y casi de forma pasional esta magnífica guitarra, este gran instrumento.
Años más tarde y todavía siento la calidez y la vibración de sus cuerdas en mi pecho. Creo que la definición de piano al referirme a su diapasón es muy acertada. Recuerdo que siempre que probaba guitarras, lo hacía con un preludio de Bach, y especialmente con un momento de dificultad por una posición de dedos muy extendidos. Esa era la prueba.

La Rubi es limpia y fantástica hasta en este punto. Una comodidad maravillosa y una sonoridad excelente. Unas semanas de adaptación y el instrumento hace su magia, hasta hoy.
