Generation Flageolet Eb-tuning

Pro audio guy here, writing a review for 10-buck gear.

The sound of a whistle matters to me a lot. If you're only looking for a neat sound, and don't want to pay more than 10 bucks, get this.
Consider the following before you buy.

• SOUND: Pure; love it, but gets irritating after 30 minutes. Some tin whistles have a sound that can be described as "mellow," others have a "nasal" timbre. This one has both. If you're playing in a session, rest assured. This one will be heard.

• RESPONSE: Overblowing will yield a rather powerful timbre (compared to other whistles). I enjoy it. This whistle is very responsive to air pressure. In fact, it is more sensitive to it than most whistles I own. You have to train your breath to be more subtle for this one. Up to 1.5 decent-sounding octaves on this one.

• QUALITY: It looks like what it is, and it looks like you've paid under 10 bucks for it. The mouthpiece looks extraordinarily cheap. The sticker on the tone chamber looks cheap. However, the tone chamber has no seam — it is a smooth tube and thus easy-on-the-thumbs.

Looks cheap, sounds nice.
