Fully-equipped Keyboard

Keyboard Yamaha PSR-EW425 front

The Yamaha PSR-EW425 is a portable keyboard for practicing and composing musical pieces. The difference to the model PSR-E473 lies in the larger amount of keys and more powerful internal loudspeakers, which results in a higher weight of 8,3kg. The 14 Super Artificial Lite Voices provide a replication of sound and velocity reponse that is true to the original sampled instruments. Complementary to the recorder, which is capable of recording both audio and MIDI data, this keyboard includes a built-in microphone input with which one is able to record vocals. Added to that, this keyboard offers a USB port to transfer MIDI data to a computer. Additional opportunities for producing music are given with the Groove Creator to desgin rhythms, as well as Quick Sampling to incorporate audio files. With these features, the Yamaha PSR-EW425 becomes a powerful keyboard with an integrated workstation to record complete songs.

For every Hand a Voice

The Yamaha PSR-EW425 features 76 keys, which velocity can be adjusted from "soft" to "hard". In addition to that, it can also be switched off with the option "Fixed". Right next to the display, you can find buttons to choose voices, songs to practice to, and styles for accompanying chords. Through the number dials, you can directly load a sound rather than searching for it and thus save time. Among the sounds you will find pianos, e-pianos, organs, string and brass instruments, guitars and basses, synthetic sounds, percussion, and even sound effects. You can also layer two sounds on the keyboard, which is possible through the function 'Dual Voice'. Furthermore, you can configure the keyboard for playing a voice with each hand. The sound of the voices can be refined with the DSP- and the Motion Effects. Among the latter ones you will find various filter, pitch, as well as modulation effects.

For expressive Performances and Productions

The Yamaha PSR-EW425 was created for all musicians who are looking for a versatile keyboard to play expressive performances with authentic sounds while also singing to it. To design the vocals more vivid in order to match them to the performance, you can add a reverb and a chorus to them. Through the AUX input on the rear side you can play signals from exterior sources such like a smartphone in order to play to songs. The rotary controls A and B for Live Control are assignable to functions in order to control parameters - for example to shape effects during the performance. Virtual instruments from any DAW can be played with the Yamaha PSR-EW425 when it is connected via its USB port. Using six optional available batteries, this keyboard can also be used on any stage without a cabled power supply.

About Yamaha

For decades, Yamaha has been one of the world’s best-known manufacturers of musical instruments and audio technology. The Japanese company’s long history began at the end of the 19th century with the harmonium. The product range has constantly expanded since then, which has made Yamaha one of the few manufacturers today to offer almost the entire range of existing musical instruments: From upright and grand pianos to guitars, wind instruments, and bowed string instruments and from drums and percussion to electronic keyboards and synthesizers. Yamaha is also a major force in the field of audio engineering as a manufacturer of mixing consoles, amplifiers, PA systems, and more. Yamaha's guiding principle is to combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology.

Versatile Recording Capabilities

The complete performance with the PSR-EW425 can be recorded through using the recorder as a .wav-file and taken along on a connected USB flash drive. All files are created in a quality of 44.1kHz and 18Bit. When recording MIDI data, you can store up to 10 recordings as songs with up to 19,000 notes, which can also be stored on a USB flash drive. Afterwards, you can edit the song and replace sounds on any DAW. Yamaha's app 'Rec'n'Share' allows synchronous recording of the audio of this keyboard with a video of a smartphone. With this feature, you can easily tape performances for your own portfolio and post them on your social media channels.

Wunderbar was Yamaha hier eingebaut hat.
