A great VST version of Rack Attack
Novaline 01.12.2019
You get waldorf classics in the package. A Drummaking VST, Filter VST and the emulation of PPG.

My personal Favorite was the emulation of RACK ATTACK. It was much better than i ever expected and i noticed that its been very underrated because of very few testings and reviews.

The Rack attack is basically like a TR machine but the concept that you have the ability to make your very own Drums with different waveforms and modulations. Of Course you can also Choose different RAM memory from classics such as TR-808, TR-909 and many more.

The plus of the Rack Attack was that you could as mentioned before create your very own drums on each midi channel and also create other sounds if you wish to do that.
If you make Techno och just like to make your own Samples, this is the synth you should try for sure. After doing some FX proccessing , it becomes somthing really big!

Cons:
Waldorf could maybe have done some sort of turtorial or manual for each VST in the package and especially for the Rack Attack. It can be hard if the user dont understand Synth basics and complexity.

Nice VSTs overall!

Gristleizer?
SynthPossum 19.08.2024
