This acoustic foam has a really good effect on kick drums, specially while recording. Sometimes kick drums have a certain "basket-ball sound" that is very unpleasant, particularly when you put the microphone inside them. Not any more: use this acoustic foam and that annoying basket-ball quality simply disappears (regardless of microphone positioning). I use it with a 18x22' kick drum from Gretsch, with very low tuning and it does wonders.

It really works. Helps to provide a good attack and control the sound of the kick drum. Easy To Use. My kick drum sound amazing with it. I don't want to pull out it from my kick drum. This accessory for those who want to control the sound of bass drum. Good product.

Transformed my old bass drum

I used this acoustic foam in an old premier bass drum that an a set of evans heads and the old bass drum has never sounded better,,, and so much lighter to carry round than a pile of blankets etc.
