Perfekter Teil eines perfekten Ganzen

Wieso kauft man eine Muschel mit 7 Löchern?
Um Musik zu machen!
Diese Alt Okarina von Johann Rotter ist Bestandteil unseres Rotter SATB Satzes für Ensemblemusik.

Da es auch bei den "professionellen" Instrumenten vergleichbare, teils wohl variantenreichere, Sätze gibt, lasse ich mir die Frage gefallen, wieso meine Wahl ausgerechnet auf diesen Satz Muscheln fiel.

Mehrere Gründe:
1. Als Instrumente aus der Produktion Johann Rotters sind sie erstklassig gestimmt. Eine Eigenschaft, die ich nicht oft genug betonen kann.

2. Mit 7 Grifflöchern haben sie zwar einen beschränkten Tonumfang von einer Oktave, der aber für Quartettspiel durchaus ausreicht. Vorteil ist aber eben die "Begreifbarkeit" im wharsten Sinne des Wortes für unerfahrenere Spieler oder in unserem Fall unsere Kinder, die am Anfang ihres Musikmachens stehen.

3. Aufgrund der bauchigen Form zeichnen sich die Muscheln durch ein außergewöhnliches Klangvolumen aus, was sie sowohl für Ensemblemusik in Räumen (Kirchen etc.) als auch für Nutzung im Freien geeignet macht.
Oft sind Instrumente für draußen zu laut, um in geschlossenen Räumen attraktiv zu klingen. Diese Okarinen haben einen runden, warmen, vollen Klang, der Zuhörer wirklich den Atem anhalten läßt, bzw. draußen zum Stehenbleiben und Fragenstellen veranlaßt.

Preis-Leistung: Selbst ein Plastik SATB Satz für Blockflöten liegt preislich erheblich über diesen Okarinen. Sucht man einen Blockflötensatz, der klanglich vergleichbar ist, landet man problemlos im 4-stelligen Bereich. Mit fast 25 Jahren Ensembleerfahrung kenne ich das Metier.

Ein Nachteil besteht bzgl. Gewicht bei den größeren Instrumenten. Ab Tenor sind diese Muscheln definitiv "Erwachsenensache". Bass und vor allem Kontrabass brauchen Luft....viel Luft!

Möchte man ganz einfach nur ein wirklich wundervolles Musikinstrument, bietet das beigefügte Notenheft mit Griffbezeichnungen und beliebten "Lagerfeuer" Classics einen guten Einstieg.

Da leider für diese Instrumente keine Ensemblemusik angeboten wird, mußte ich lang verschmähtes Hochschulwissen hervorsuchen und haben uns ein einstündiges Konzertprogramm arrangiert. Ich gebe zu, das wird sicher nicht die Standardvorgehensweise für "Normalkäufer" sein. Kann man dies nicht, sind die Instrumente es mehr als wert, z.B. hier bei Thomann die fachkundigen Mitarbeiter zu fragen, ob es nicht z.B. Blockflötennoten gibt, die man nutzen könnte.

Fazit: Diese Muscheln sind "echt lecker"!

I didnt like it because it has a very high tone sound..
But again its my opinion, if you like flute sounds i think you'll like it.
