It is well shielded. I am using it to connect an aux output of my mixer to the Rolls P351 personal monitor, and it is noiseless despite the length. I guess people who are buying gold covered whatnot cables for the price of a guitar are really worst cases of purist snobs.

a very good reliable lead this lead is perfect for its application having two connections going down to a stereo plug makes a difference the quality of the lead is very strong a lot better and cheaper than a very similar lead i bought a year ago that didnt last well done
