Killer Clean Analogue Boost
Panos!, 10.02.2020
I use it in the loop in order to increase the volume when soloing or in front of my overdrive pedals for gain stacking. It works perfectly in both situations!

Kicking myself I never got this earlier - has a definite "Wow! factor"
20.09.2016
I never really thought about a booster pedal before. I was always drawn to the 'fancy' pedals to change the sound and could not really see the point of the booster pedals.

Plugged this in and straight away was hit with the "Wow! factor", the guitar signal I know was boosted but sounded so much more resonant and clear and also made the rest of the effect box chain sound so much better, which makes sense as it is giving so much more signals for the other pedals to work with.

Not sounding like I am overstating it, but it was like plugging in new guitars. Without it, straight away the guitars sound much duller and lifeless. I could not imagine not using one of these now.

I was so impressed I also bought it's big brother and use this mini-pedal mid-chain having the big brother direct from the guitar driving the chain and now getting a sound I could only have dreamed of and for not a lot of money.

Can only highly recommend this, you have to get one ..... or two.

Always-on in my pedalboard
nagraj, 08.05.2020
How do I use it?
I keep this booster as first in my pedalboard chain - always-on (40%). It makes my pedals / amp more predictable when I turn on other overdrives / switch amp channel - there is no unexpected increase of volume or gain of effects.

And still - even with this booster - amp reacts very well when I change volume in my guitar.

It's transparent - does not change the character of amplifier - but makes the sound richer and nicer. Great and cheap pedal. It has only one knob - but you don't need more!

So much boost for such a small pedal
Mick Jansen, 23.01.2019
After I 'failed' to saturate the overdrive of my MojoMojo pedal with a singlecoiled guitar I realized the signal coming in to the overdrive pedal wasn't 'hot' enough to create a full overdriven, near distortion kind of sound I was looking for. It did great with chords, but when soloing the heavily overdriven sound seemed to have disappeared leaving me with a low volume non-sustaining solo sound.
So the first thing I thought of was changing the pickups to increase the output signal, but I really liked the sound of the existing pickups which were Duncan Designed. Changing the pickups just for this one purpose wasn't worth it in my opinion.
Soon I came across some boost pedals on Thomann that seemed promising. Already having a lot of tc pedals in my possession and having hardly any space left on my pedalboard, I decided to go with this one.
It is a great pedal that delivers a clean boost up to 20dB. I never used it with the dial past 12 o'clock, because it was plenty loud enough just below that. It did solve my singlecoil soloing sound problem with which I'm very happy with. It looks awesome as well.
