De rieten hebben op zich een vrij goeie klankkwaliteit, maar de afwerking is bedenkelijk. In een doosje van 10 rieten komen bij het uitpakken al 5 rieten met kleine beschadigingen in de bovenrand (kleine scheurtjes, hoekje afgebroken, ...).
