very high-quality product. but does not muffle as much as I expected. I dont record so could not tell any difference between it solid and with optional parts removed. Its does muffle both front and back at once, but is only useful for the size bought for, EG i bought mine for e 18" bass drum and it therefore useless for my 20". I have gone back to a towel /heavy blanket for a more universal/adjustable effect.

Easy to install
Stay in place
Muffling without killing the drum
After time this product tends to dry out and very slowly break down into tiny particles. Still has its shape and works well but it's starting to shed. I have 4 and all are beginning to shed.

Die Einlage für die Bass-Trommel ist zwar nicht ganz billig, dafür aber das Geld Wert. Das Kissen ist flexibel in der Gestaltung der Dämpfung und das bleibt auch nach dem Transport so. Es verrutscht nicht und fliegt in der Trommel herum wie z.B. eine Decke o.Ä. Außerdem sieht es noch ansehnlich aus, was bei der Verwendung von transparenten Fell(en) ja auch wichtig sein kann.
Also insgesamt ist das Teil zu empfehlen. Rein damit und gut is.
