Almost as good ad the Neumann KM184

Bought these for general purpose studio work.

The are excellent on Acoustic Guitar, Overheads, Even vocals.

On several occasions we have preferred these to the Nuemann KM 184, which says a lot.

They sounds fabulous and set well in the mix, providing a sound that responds to EQ when needed.

Overall a great microphone choice and a bargain at the price.

The Rode warranty is also very good, but I never needed it.

Kleinkondensatormikrofon zu gutem Preis

Das Rode NT 55 ist vor allem als Stützmikrofon gut geeignet. Natürlich hört man im direkten Vergleich zu anderen wesentlich teureren Mikrofonen kleine Unterschiede, sowohl im Klang als auch im Rauschverhalten, diese sind aber je nach Einsatzort vernachlässigbar. Die Möglichkeit einfach die Richtcharakteristik von Niere auf Kugel zu ändern ist hervorragend.

Die mitgelieferte Mikrofonklammer ist etwas klobig. Die Verpackung ist dem Preis entsprechend sparsam und nicht mit den Holzkästchen anderer Hersteller zu vergleichen.

Un micro honnête pour les prises de guitares acoustiques

Je trouve ce micro d'un rapport qualité prix étonnant. Je m'en sers depuis plusieurs mois pour mes prises acoustiques. Il convient bien pour les prises instrumentales, mais pas pour le chant (trop de pops).
Je l'utilise aussi pour mes prises devant ampli, et là l'atténuateur rend bien des services.
Je regrette un peu son extrême sensibilité : il n'est pas rare qu'on perçoive le chant des oiseaux derrière mes prises, malgré les fenêtres fermées, mais cela ne gène pas trop au final...
Il est livré avec une tête omnidirectionnelle, mais je ne l'ai jamais utilisée.
Bref, pour moi, c'est un maître achat pour tout qui veut enregistrer une guitare acoustique à faible coût mais avec une qualité exploitable.

De los mejores en relación calidad-precio.

Dentro de lo micros de condensador con membrana pequeña y teniendo en cuenta su precio, el NT55 es el micro multipatrón que mejor resultados sónicos me ha dado. Tiene un sonido limpio y con mucho detalle en todo su espectro. No tiene tendencias a frecuencias estridentes, al contrario, es más bien sedoso.
Los interruptores son muy pequeños y se necesita de algo punzante para cambiar de posición. La capsula omnidireccional es más practica como alternativa tímbrica que para técnicas de microfonía en donde se requiera este patron en concreto.
