Good for practice, not for feel

I got this pack for my practice kit so I could practice in my living room without being a pain to my landlords, which live over me in the same house.

They feel really bouncy, and the sound, while low, isn't really a cool "sound" in terms of using it for anything other than practice. There is differences though, but not enough where I would use them at a low volume/acoustic gig.

As far as bounciness, they don't feel "natural" in terms of toms. They don't feel bad, they just feel a little bit off if you're used to normal heads on acoustic drums.

That being said, this is a great product for low volume practice! I've used them for a couple of months now and it can definitely help you with rythms, chops and stuff while not disturbing neighbours/parents/residents of the house. I definitely recommend it if you can't practice because of the loudness.

Tone and low volume

Great practice heads to reduce the volume while still maintaining good tone. Some increased rebound but can be somewhat alleviated by tuning down slightly. Perfect for home drumming.

Vraiment efficace pour l'entourage

J'ai offert cet article. Ca permet de conserver le plaisir de jouer sur une batterie (contrairement à une batterie électronique) sans nuire à ses proches! Le matériel tiens le coup et mon ami l'a un peu adapté à ses goûts sonores en ajoutant du scotch (de peinture) aux endroits ou il tape le plus.
Il peut jouer quand bon lui semble au sous-sol (mur parpaing, vieilles fenêtre, habitation à l'étage) sans risquer de gêner les voisins ou de m'empêcher de travailler à l'étage.
Avant je ne pouvais même pas suivre un programme à la télévision ni écouter la radio. Je devais mettre des boules quiès pour me concentrer sur mon travail. Désormais j'entends une batterie atténuée et les voisins n'entendent pas plus la batterie que les bruits de circulation.
Je conseille fortement cet achat.

silent stroke

ho montato le pelli sul mio set della Sonor. Ne sono entusiasta; il feeling rispetto a quelle tradizionali è praticamente uguale e sono estremamente silenziose. Per lo studio sono perfette evitando lo stress di insonorizzare,disturbo dei vicini etc. Insomma è davvero la situazione ideale.
