Remo had great idea with PS 77 (I do like that number), but this is just hybrid of some existing drumheads (alomost like Powerstroke 4). Also, underlayer ring is glued to top drumhead and it makes precise tuning impossible. Maybe onkly with drumdial or Tunebot. Like Evans Hydraulic, this is thick and dull drumhead which can make happy only heavy hitters. Also, I find Remo has colder sound and not so good coating as others.

The coat does not do justice to the higher price. Of course, drumsound is always taste but I like the skin not so well, although I am already someone who plays quite strong. It can not convince at all on a pearl metal nail. Everything sounds very matte. Then 2nd try on the Tama SLP Acrylic Snare as it all sounded a bit better. The processing is, of course, like all the skins of Remo very good. But I will definitely go back to the tried and tested Evans 14 "EC1 Coated Edge Control RD. Which can convince to absolutely every snare to 100%.
