Hot!

Perfect to upgrade your guitar. Very beautiful and hot pickup. Lot of clarity.
Can be used for more than playing metal.
PRS quality as expected!

I used it to put in my PRS Tremonti SE.

A
pickup for metal
Anonymous 26.08.2016
I would say it's a great pickup for lead channel and play metal, rock music. I tried to use it on a clean channel but it's not a super clean sound. Still got a little bit of distortion there what was really annoying. For a clean sound I had to switch to Tremonti bass pickup

Powerful but articulate

I had a PRS Tremonti a couple of years ago and really liked the way it sounded.
I bought this to pair with a PRS \m/ neck pickup to put into a 594 replating the 58/15LT pair in there.

The sound is as I remember it, huge voice, very full and powerful but still clear and with excellent note separation even with obscene amounts of gain.
Pairs well with the \m/ neck pickup.

Definitely suits the 594 body if you're after a bit more grunt than the original ones.

Easy to install and most of the circuit diagrams are on the PRS website.
