Nothing bad

Doesn't fit 1010 Bluebox. The jack is metal, thinning with a knife is impossible.

It solved everything!

Laptop audio for a PA setup, without a mixer... not an easy task! This cable solved the problem!

Running an unbalanced 3.5mm stereo jack from my laptop into my crossover, I decided to go for this Y-cable splitter, which splits the stereo signal to 2x mono 6.3mm TS female jacks. From there, I run two long 6.3mm TS (male) into male XLR cables, for maximum flexibility. If needed, I can switch to pure TS cables for a mixer input, no problem!

Build quality - ideal for the price! It came with a small MXP1015 cable tie on the splitter part, as strain-relief (which is a welcome surprise)! Connectors are sturdy, cable is soldered professionally.

Thumbs up!

NA
quality item, recomended

This is a high quality cable. I got the shortest version but i think longer models are available at the same price [!] if you need that.
All the connectors are metal & unscrewable for maintainance [not sealed/ moulded].
The cable is 5.5mm diameter and has a quality soft rubber feel to it. the inline 1/4" jack sockets are colour coded with red & black idents.
The mini jack is a gold colour.

Interestingly the 1/4" sockets are stereo, with the middle ring unconnected. If you wanted to add a resistor to create a pseudo differential signal, it would be very easy to do.
