Very Nice Guitar

Derek R., 28.04.2015
This is a very nice sounding guitar. I was a little concerned that it is produced in China as I purchased a China produced Epiphone and I was not impressed however, this guitar is well made and sounds great also, the tuner is a big bonus.

Easy to fall in love with!

GünterZ, 04.09.2017
A few weeks ago I ordered the Ortega RCE159SN-NT at Thomann, after I had read some tests and evaluations (.... the judgment of an instrument or its sound is always a matter of taste).
YouTube videos also help to a limited extent, because private users with the sound quality usually completely creepy results reset, and the official video posts of the manufacturers are often fined with the finest studio technology.
So I ordered the guitar (unplayed) simply for rehearsal. The Thomans have the as always superschnell land with me. Great !!!

The design, the style, the form, the material selection, the material and color compositions, the measurements, and and and .... all this I have already noticed when looking at the pictures on the Thomann product side as so extraordinarily chic and tasteful that me alone has already moved the optics of the instrument for trial purchase.
And it was not a mistake!

Processing: absolutely immaculate!
Optics: even nicer than the pictures suggest!
Preamp / Pickup: Much much better than I would have expected for this money. Apparently it is Ortega with this pickup genuinly succeeded to eliminate the otherwise often so annoying cirrus and hissing frequencies of piezo pickup systems completely, without a loss of centers and heights. Absolutely perfectly matched to nylonstrings!

After I have exchanged the works against my favored reference string Savarez 510AR Alliance Cantiga Strings, I was in the seventh guitar heaven.

The Cordoba has played a wonderful sound already unplugged. However, I prefer to play with a really fantastic reverb (Strymon Flint), and almost exclusively through an excellent acoustic amp (Schertler Jam 200), and would let me take the daring but seriously meant statement that the Cordoba is high in this environment - reveals suspicious sound qualities !!!

Glittery, glittering in the treble, very fast response, fantastic dynamics and feedback of the stop on each string and on every fret, absolutely beautiful, warm, resonant bass frequencies without any numming, and then this neck: flat, flattering, and with 46 mm gold right in the width for clean, besides silent play also the most difficult runs.
Conclusion :
I would not have thought for such a manageable price an instrument of this quality. And in every respect! I'm really surprised!
The processing is already phenomenal, but the tone development (above all strengthened and in the periphery, as described above) is simply to the kneeling and wet eyes, whether classical pieces, pop, flamenco, rumba .....

I have a lot of guitars, even more fine equipment, and am a hard-to-satisfy sound and toned fetishist, who has been playing the guitar for almost 40 years, and who knows what a lightning-fast workmanship is (professional carpenter).
This is by no means preeminently meant.
I am also always very happy when I feel reading a rating that someone knows what he is talking about.
And that is precisely why:

Absolutely unlimited purchase recommendation from me!
