Damit sind sie im Besonderen ideal für die Konfektionierung symmetrischer Insertkabel oder rein passiver XLR-Splits geeignet, da auch Leitungen mit hochwertigem Mantel noch doppelt aufgenommen werden können. Es empfiehlt sich, im Bereich der Zange beide Kabel mit einem kurzen Schrumpfschlauch zusammenzufassen.
