Small wah, huge sound!

There is always a way to make things even smaller - or so it seems at Mooer, and the Wahter Classic Wah Pedal is no exception. Despite its ultra-compact size, this micro-sized wah delivers a rich, full-bodied tone and effortlessly finds its place on any pedalboard. Housed in a gold-coloured, die-cast housing, the pedal combines high-quality internal components for an authentic wah sound with a surprisingly sturdy pedal design, enhanced by two fold-out brackets that extend the surface area - perfect for those moments when players are rocking chunky boots on stage. True bypass ensures the signal remains pristine when the effect is off, and while it runs on any standard 9-volt power supply, battery operation isn't part of the package.

Mooer The Wahter Classic Wah Pedal

Three wah modes to choose from

The Mooer The Wahter Classic Wah Pedal provides three versatile operating modes, seamlessly adapting to different playing styles and preferences. In "Sensor" mode, simply touching the rocker is enough to engage the effect, while "Hold" mode allows players to select from fixed frequencies by pressing the pedal twice, and "Advanced" mode blends both approaches, enabling the effect to activate either by stepping onto the rocker or, with a quick double press, stay permanently engaged. Switching between modes is effortless - the player simply has to press the rocker while connecting the power supply, and two LEDs on the lower front edge will flash once, twice, or three times to indicate the selected mode.

Creativity for guitar and bass

Thanks to its impressive sound quality, solid build, and trio of versatile wah modes, the Mooer The Wahter Classic Wah Pedal offers a wealth of creative potential - even for demanding professionals - regardless of whether they are slinging a four or six-string instrument. Designed to serve both guitarists and bassists alike, this compact yet sturdy pedal delivers not only great tone but also intuitive usability, making The Wahter Classic Wah Pedal just as appealing to seasoned players as it is to beginners looking to dial in that classic wah sound with minimal effort.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

...and wah sounds for all

Whether it's delivering punchy Funk licks on guitar, adding extra weight to an amp's tone with a fixed frequency, or serving as a creative tool for bassists to enhance grooves and solo lines, Mooer's The Wahter Classic Wah Pedal brings remarkable versatility to both instruments and across a wide range of genres, all while maintaining high sound quality. Its three wah modes give players quick and easy access to an extended sonic palette, and the fold-out brackets provide a level of foot control that comes surprisingly close to that of full-sized pedals. Despite this functionality, its ultra-compact size means the Wahter takes up far less space and weighs only about half as much, making this pedal effortlessly portable - whether tucked into a pedalboard, slipped into a gig bag, or even carried in a jacket pocket on the way to a rehearsal or a gig.

J
A small pedal with a great sound!
João 16.08.2016
The pedal has a very small size and is very well built, has a metal box, which gives you a tank of resistance.

The pedal has four pressure sensors. just put the foot on the pedal, so that immediately the effect is activated. There are two extendable pads, which can be pulled off the pedal in order to achieve a larger contact area for the foot support.

To turn on the pedal and let it so, it's easy, just hit twice in a row and the effect will be active until turned off again with the same procedure.

Finally, for those who have little space on the pedalboard and want to have that classic wah sound, this is the ideal pedal.

Great tiny pedal

Not a crybaby - but obviously in the same voice family. The sensors are a luxury I would now hate to live without.

Has performed flawlessly so far. It takes some time to get used to the small footprint and how that affects how your brain perceives the physical sweep of the pedal.

No cons.

A
Simply AMAZING!
Anonymous 12.03.2017
I have 4 on 9 mooer pedals inside my pedal board and I am very happy about that! I sold my CryBaby to buy this LIGHT, COMFORTABLE, SOLID, SHARP pedal! In comparison with the most of mooer pedals, that are cheap but with a good balance between quality and price, this Wah pedal looks much better... the sound is amazing and the activation is very comfortable! It is enough to place your foot on the pedal to activate the effect and you have also 2 red lights that tell you when the effect is active! VERY RECOMMENDED!

I was a bit dubious when I ordered this as its small size left me wondering if it would be practical to put your foot on and use. However on arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works with a great sound and three useful modes to choose from.overall I would recommend this wah especially if lack of space is a problem on your pedalboard.Thanks.
