Wie sehen Zebras wirklich aus?

Ich habe diese Tonabnehmer in eine 90er Epi LP Classic eingebaut - wer ein Vogelaugen-Furnier hat, muss flashy Pickups haben, nicht schlicht schwarz. Ein Qualitäts-Upgrade sollten sie auf jeden Fall sein.
Die Bobbins (äh - Spulenkörper?) sind schmaler als die er Original-PUs, was die Pickup-Rahmen "durchschaubarer" macht.
Die "amerikanischen" Pickups passen aber in die "koreanischen" Rahmen.
Löten hab ich mich noch nicht getraut - der Klangbericht folgt also noch.

Jetzt der HAKEN: Das was man bekommt, ist anscheinend die "Reverse Zebra" Anordnung. Schrauben-Polepieces auf schwarz. Da die Schrauben üblicherweise nach außen kommen, ist cream jetzt also innen. Zumindest ist bei fast allen Fotos cream außen, mitsamt Schrauben. Das ist der klassische Zebra-Pärchen-Look. Wer den haben will, sollte auf andere Pickups ausweichen, Mojotone macht es innen.
(Echte Profis HÖREN natürlich auch den Unterschied...)
Ehrlicherweise: hätte ich Erfahrung gehabt, wäre mir das schon auf dem Produktfoto aufgefallen.
