Nix Dolles, but stop cheap.

Positive:
The monitor is solidly processed, the buttons of metal turning without play and with just the right resistance. Metal grille protects well against falling drumsticks ....
Well is synonymous, that one over the admissible Aux input an Ipod or similar for Play-Alongs dranhang can (even if my Roland Drummodul has such an entrance already). You could probably hang up a guitar or a bass, if necessary.

Negative:
The thing I really care about, the monitor but not: Namely sound good. Especially bad is the reproduction of the bassdrum, here one hears most of the drumsets only a "Klack-Klack" instead of a "Wumms-Wumms". Since I had of such a small loudspeaker probably too much expected in terms of frequency response. Since I have already tried another box (3x as expensive), which was not synonymous viiieeel, I have come to the conclusion that for an acceptable BD playback stop without subwoofer nothing goes. In some forums you hear the tip, it with a larger Logitech PC loudspeaker 2.1 system to be added (which sometimes have neat woofers). That may indeed be true, but such a one is then actually just suitable for practicing.
From this monitor, I had hoped, however, that he would also be suitable for the Proberaum interplay of the quieter kind ("unplugged" sound of the other instruments). That would be possible from the attainable volume still possible, but failed as I said the miserable sound.

The Sennheiser PX-100 - VERY inconspicuous little headphones, but nothing brings the drumsound over like that - try it. If you want to hear the sound of the Roland-Set really good, times!). Loudly, the drumset can be reproduced in acceptable quality only over a PA with woofers.
If you want to practice without headphones, the monitor goes already because you at least hear something, but it is not nice ...

Experience DM-30 Drummonitor
Dirk R., 20.10.2009
Hello friends of beat music,

I bought the Drummonitor for an E-Drumset with a ROLAND TD-7 sound module. My son is mainly at home. The level is far more than sufficient for this. The basses are absolutely OK deep enough and without distortions even at higher levels. The mids are enforceable but not annoying, really good for a drummonitor. In the highs, the Coax-Speaker is then a bit bitchy, that is especially noticeable when you play back a jam across the line inputs. Speaking of: These are handy because completely independently adjustable and stereo (with internal mono summation). The three-band EQ is also practical. The center and height range (see above) can thus be adapted as required. The bass EQ is more suitable for slimming the bass range than for additional boosting. The processing of the entire device is basic, the design of the front plate but perhaps "a little houseback". And: Internal power supply, very good. I could imagine the DM-30 synonymous as a keyboard monitor, unless you need a real stereo.

Conclusion: For the called price, there is a solid monitor for e-drums (and more).
