Nice Sounding Congas

These Congas were larger than I expected, good quality, well made and sturdy. They have a pleasant rich tone. The stand is excellent, strong and with height adjustment, it also has a large rubber stay that the instruments rest in on keeping it all stable and vibration free. They will be quite heavy with the stand but I found this an advantage as they won't move around. I also purchased the gig bags for protection, these are excellent value when you consider the cost of the items they are protecting.

Super Sound!

Der Sound der Cognac ist sehr angenehm und Klangvoll. Macht spaß mit denen zu spielen. Die Verarbeitung ist auch ganz gut, von den Cognas selbst, was ich vom Ständer nicht gerade sagen kann. Beim spielen entsteht ein nerviges Geräusch vom Ständer selbst, da es sich Teleskop-technisch rausschieben lässt um die höhe einzustellen, klappert der obere Innenstab gegen den anderen Stab. Ich konnte es beheben indem ich von der Verpackung, so ein Polyester genommen habe, und es somit fixierte ich es. Einfach den Stab rausnehmen und mit dem Polyester wieder reinschieben, dann hat man es beseitigt. Jetzt wackelt es immer noch ein wenig aber das stört nicht, Hauptsache man hört keine neben Geräusche beim Aufnehmen.

Und die sind echt groß, falls sich das jemand fragt. Ich habe es aufgebaut und dachte nur, wohin damit. Nach einwenig Studio-rumschieberei ging das. Und sie haben sich in mein Studio einintegriert.

Como siempre Thomann con un servicio excelente. El set perfecta relación calidad-precio. De momento, y después de solamente un día de uso, muy contento. Sonoridad perfecta, armónicos agradables... no se puede pedir más.

Habe die Congas jetzt annähernd 4 Jahre immer wieder in Gebrauch und kann mich keinesfalls beschweren!
Das Fell ist für den Preis gut verarbeitet und robust, sie lassen sich weiterhin sehr einfach stimmen und das Gehäuse hat, trotz mehrerer Einsätze im Freien, nie Probleme bereitet. Auch der Sound hat sich über die Jahre nicht verän dert und ist immer noch satt und bunt.
Nur die Halterung ist nicht das Wahre. Da die Congas, wie zu erwarten, ein gewissen Gewicht haben, können sie beim Spielen gerne mal wackeln und an das Metall kommen, was wohl u.a. an der kleinen Haltefläche liegt. Jedoch sehe ich nur dort Verbesserungspotenzial, daher 4 Sterne bei der Verarbeitung.
Für den Preis aber immer noch spitze!
Über den Versand und den Service müssen wir glaube ich eh nicht reden, Thomann eben!
