Premesso che mi ero già avvicinato ai bassi sire con l'ottimo Marcus Miller U5 ho voluto fare il salto di qualità con questa novità del P7 edizione thomann...che dire, questo strumento non ha un difetto. Innanzitutto è arrivato con un setup impeccabile, è leggero, la finitura sandblasted glossy forse non è per tutti ma a mio parere fa una bella figura a vedersi. Oltre ad essere leggero, non ha nessun Neck Dive che era la mia principale preoccupazione, manico molto scorrevole e i bordi arrotondati sono davvero molto piacevoli. Ma passiamo al suono, la versatilità è la caratteristica principale, usato da passivo ha il giusto suono vintage del PJ, nessun rumore del pickup, se ci si affianca un preamp analogico esce fuori un suono davvero grandioso. Usato in modalità attiva diventa ancor più versatile con i controlli aggiuntivi sull'equalizzazione, e ha un ruggito davvero piacevole. Se proprio volessi trovare un difetto sono i potenziometri messi uno sopra l'altro su cui bisogna prestare attenzione specie quello del volume e del tono che non sono proprio "indipendenti" più volte mi è capitato di voler regolare il tono e contemporaneamente mi si è abbassato il volume...ma stiamo parlando davvero di minimi dettagli. Per il resto rapporto qualità prezzo incredibile, considerando che prima di questo ho avuto modo di provare un sadowsky metroexpress PJ, uno Yamaha BB734 e anche un Fendere player II...ma questo li batte tutti! Stra-consigliato
