I am using it for Baritone and the raw sound is very good. It's much better then Beta52 and for this price is for me the best in this money rang. In studio is in the rang of Electro Voice microphones

Das Lewitt DTP 340 REX hängt bei mir vor dem 15" Bass Cab (OBC115) und verrichtet dort einen super Job!

Im Gegensatz zu Beta62, D112 und e902 betont das Mikrofon in der 'flat' Einstellung nicht übermäßig den üblichen Bass und Kick Bereich für Bassdrum. Auch die Mitten-Badewanne fehlt. Im Gegenteil, die Mitten löst es super differenziert auf, was dem Bassknurren sehr zu gute kommt.

Frequenztechnisch geht es weit genug runter um den Dropped-D Sound ordentlich abzubilden. Das Mikro nimmt einem viel Arbeit am EQ ab!

Der EQ-Boost ist nicht so meins, kommt aber sicher der Bassdrum zu Gute.

Für das Home-Recording ist das Mikro sicher nix, der Bassbereich geht bei leisen Quellen etwas verloren. Für den ersten Test hing es hierfür im Arbeitszimmer vor einer Markbass 12" Combo.
Richtig angefahren, liefert das Ding definierte Bässe ohne Mulm.

Das Mic kommt definiv in's Live-Besteck! Sehr wertiges Mikrofon, welches meiner Meinung nach die Niesche "Bass-Cab-Mic" perfekt bedient und das DI-Signal nur noch zum Beiwerk macht.

Sehr neutraler Kick Sound. Kann allerdings durch die + Position verstärkt werden.
Die Verarbeitung ist einfach Robust.

Bei der Verschraubung darf man nicht dasgleiche erwarten wie bei dem Beta 52A. Trittgeräusche kommen nicht bei der Kapsel an.
