These are as basic as it gets. Really wouldn't bother buying these.
Fixing is achieved by a set of 8 self adhesive pads, about the size of a 1p coin, per speaker coupled together to make a male & female velcro combo.
Initially all was fine but within 24hrs a grill would fall to the floor. This happened on both speakers time and time again. Ended up holding them in place with superglue.
That all said they look very nice once they are on, just a shame they got damaged by falling so often.

I use DAVE8XS in my studio. These grilles come with a bit of double-face-sticker to fix them on the loudspeakers. It?s always falling off. Not very profesional.

Top oder Flop ?

Es war vielleicht eine guter Gedanke passend zum Dave 8 PA Media System ein paar durchaus sehr schicke Frontblenden optional anzubieten, aber was sich LD-Systems bei der Befestigung gedacht hat bleibt fragwürdig !
Die für die Frontgrille gedachten Klettklebepads lösen sich nach kurzer Zeit, schon fallen die Frontblenden runter, na toll ?
Habe die Tops der Dave 8 horizontal mit den optionalen Haltern SUWMB 10 W unter die Decke geschraubt, sieht mega aus, lässt sich perfekt ausrichten und auch die Stahlseilsicherung womit die Tops zusätzlich gesichert sind ist sehr gut !
Einzig die Frontblenden fallen einem denn schon mal auf den Deckel.
Warum man bei einem so hochwertigen System wie der Dave 8 die Frontblenden mit ein paar simplen Klebepads befestigt welche nicht halten ist echt fragwürdig ?
Es wäre wirklich sehr wünschenswert gewesen wenn die Frontgrille wie bei der Dave 8 Roadie zum verschrauben gewesen wären !

Würde ja gerne einmal wissen ob die Frontgrille der Dave 8 Roadie auch auf die Dave 8 passen und ob man diese optional erwerben kann ?

Die Dave8XS BK Frontblenden hab ich letztlich noch etwas bearbeitet damit sie wenigstens noch mittels Gummiband als Staubschutz dienen.

Top, die Frontblenden sehen schon sehr schick aus und schützen die Tops.
Flop, sie halten einfach nicht mit den Klebepads !

Bon je ne comprend pas pourquoi de base l'enceinte n'est pas protéger, donc obligé d'acheter la grille séparément... Conformément aux précédents commentaires, le système de scratch ne fonctionne pas. J'ai appuyé très fortement pour mettre les grilles en place, et au bout d'une semaine, les deux grilles sont tombées toutes seules...
Donc pour le prix, c'est cher payé pour un système qui ne fonctionne pas du tout.
