Das war mal wieder so ein Moment : man steckt ein neues MPC drauf und kriegt grosse Ohren! Man hat das Gefühl, als möchte man gar nicht mehr aufhören zu spielen.; so ging?s mir mit dem Jody. Breiter knalliger, klarer, strahlender Ton, kürzere Bahnkurve sorgt poblemlos für super hohe Töne. Für Rock, Pop, Jazz ... super. Die mitgelieferte Ligatur D?Addario HTS1 ist etwas zu gross; beim 2,5er-Blatt schnell am Anschlag schliesst sie oft noch nicht fest genug; besser: Vandoren Optimum oder Francois Lous Ultumate Silver XL (etwas fummelig!)

Comme beaucoup de saxophonistes, je suis toujours à la recherche du " Son" , avec un grand S , tout au moins de celui que j'affectionne et compte tenu de ma manière particulière de souffler ( chacun a la sienne propre )
Un peu lassé des becs de grand renom, très onéreux et qui m'ont finalement souvent déçu, j'ai voulu essayer sans me ruiner ce bec JODY JAZZ JET 7,un bec dont un ami m'avait dit du bien .
Résultat : coup de foudre immédiat , étonnement devant la facilité d'émission sur tout le registre, devant la puissance et la clarté du son, brillant, mais qu'on peut velouter aussi à la BEN WEBSTER changeant le combinaison bec - anche .
J'avais , comme tout le monde, procéder à un tri de mes anches , en écartant certaines que je considérais comme les moins bonnes : avec ce bec , elles retrouvent vie et sonnent .
Ce bec est magique et je ne pense pas m'en lasser .
