I had a call with a mouthpiece expert from JK and he confirmed me that USA series have the same rim/diameter for different cup size. I was playing a 1-1/2C, but wanted a shallower cup with the same rim/bite, and found that 1-1/2D is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Thomann & JK !

Die JK Mundstücke klingen alle sehr gut. Dieses hier hat einen nicht zu tiefen und nicht zu flachen Kessel, mit dem man im Vergleich zum 1 1/2 C besser in der Höhe zurecht kommt. Mit dem Mundstück würde ich mit dieser perfekten Ansprache generell in der klassischen und traditionellen Blasmusik bleiben, andere Musikrichtungen z.B. Jazz sind aber natürlich auch möglich. Allerdings fehlt mir aufgrund des flacheren Kessels deutlich Tonvolumen, weshalb ich dieses Mundstück wieder zurückgeschickt habe und persönlich lieber das 1 1/2 C spiele.
