Full control in full colour

The Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro offers no fewer than 51 amp models, which include authentic reproductions of a wide range of iconic Rock amplifiers – from the warm, clean sound of Californian vintage amps and the full, raunchy overdrive of British Rock amps through to the renowned modern American high-gain amps. These can be combined with 31 cab simulations and an even larger number of studio-quality effects, such as compressor, EQ, wah, distortion, reverb, delay, and many more. The bright 5" colour display and the five controllers located directly below allow users to easily create and organise their patches, control the built-in looper, and visually check the tuning of their instrument with the help of the integrated tuner.

Extensive connectivity

The Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro makes an equally convincing case on the outside thanks to its numerous connections, which will also meet the demanding requirements of professional users. For outgoing signals, users can choose from stereo jack outputs, balanced XLR outputs, or a USB port that allows the DNAfx GiT Pro to be connected directly to a computer in order to access further convenient functions, e. g. the loading of additional IRs or the editing of presets using an editor software programme. Of course, the Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro features both a MIDI interface and an AMP CTRL output for integrating an amplifier into the setup. This is perfectly complemented by an AUX input, an FX loop that can be placed in any position in the signal chain, and a headphone jack for undisturbed playing pleasure.

A lot of fun as my first Multi FX peda
Ermini 10.07.2023
Got this unit for a few months now, and i'm very pleased with it. Make sure you install the update which is provided on the website. A lot of preset and a lot of custom options. Also make sure to calibrate foot pedal!

Only minus that i can think of is that when running the unit as an audio interface, there is no option to shut off the direct monitoring. (or at least not that i know of).

Overall i would recommend this unit if you dont know what sounds you like and are not ready splurge a whole lot of money on different amps. This unit provides you with the F, V, and M amp sounds to get familiar with. I mostly play clean which this unit does beautifully imo. But this unit persuaded me to also try some more gritty sounds.

Great sound for the Buck !
Maria Mendes 12.07.2024
This Harley Benton DNAfx Git Pro promises to amaze anyone who
plays guitar for fun (and even professionals).
It is a nice looking hardware, very well made, easy to use, compact
and lightweight enough to fit into a small backpack, or even inside your guitar Gig-Bag ! Which is the way I carry it to a concert, because it is so compact !
It also provides tons of great tones and effects and the possibility to entirely customize them with quality and reliability. It already comes with
an excellent variety of presets to make you play for days non-stop.
I can now play all the guitar sounds from all of my favorite bands and guitar heroes !
Get one today.... it is worth it !

M
Great Sound but Terrible Defaults
MrDevlar 16.06.2026
I've had this thing now almost two years. I initially wanted to get something as I started guitar that could get me the "tone" I wanted without having to buy something expensive. Let's do this backwards

Cons
---
- Default settings are terrible. None of the default settings sound good. Hell, even the default chain order (which you can change) is not good.
- The UI was designed by someone in a great deal of pain with the world. It can take 10-15 minutes to set up a chain and another 5 to give it a name. If you plug it into a PC, it's easier to work with but only marginally so.
- Expression pedal on the device is "fine" but not great. However, it does have a place to plug in an external expression pedal.
- You cannot stack effects. Basically the only real limitation on this device. e.g. I cannot make a chain with two tube screamers in a row. You're limited to one type of effect per chain.

Pros
---
- It sounds great, the audio quality of the device is top tier when the settings are dialed in.
- It has all the connectors you could need. Far beyond comparable models in the same price point, 2 XLR, MIDI in/out, USB Audio Device.
- It's a great device to use as a recording tool with the PC.
- Build is very good. It's heavy, if you cannot get the tone you want, you can always throw it at your audience.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Most of the defects (except the UI) can be overcome with a bit of effort. If you're looking for a budget multi-effects pedal board this is probably one of the best on the market for the price point. You're paying for hardware, not software. It can sound really good with a bit of effort.
