Great sound. The only slight disadvantage is that they are somewhat "scratchy" when doing slides.

Really good strings

One of my really old strings snapped while playing and a friend of mine, who has been playing guitar for longer, recomended me these strings and they are great! They're thicker than my old strings and provide a bit more low end sound. Overall, great strings, would recomend.

Genau, wie die Überschrift sagt - aus meiner Sicht die besten Saiten für eine Les Paul.
Wie oft bei Saiten, sind die Unterschiede subtil, tragen aber dennoch zum Endergebnis bei.
Durch die "Pure Nickel" Ausführung sind die Saiten etwas leichter zu spielen. Hier ist der Effekt noch etwas ausgeprägter als bei anderen Pure Nickel Strings, die ich ausprobiert habe. Die Höhen sind insgesamt etwas "weicher" als bei anderen Saiten. Wichtig ist, "zu schneidene Höhen" bekommt man damit alleine nicht in den Griff, sie mildern solche aber ab.
Ich habe die Saiten nach 3 Monaten ausgetauscht, allerdings nur aus "Sicherheit" und weil Griffbrettpflege erforderlich war. Sie klangen noch immer sehr gut, die nächsten werde ich möglicherweise länger spielen ...

Ist 15€ für einen Satz Saiten angemessen? Das muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Auf meiner Les Paul sind sie auf jeden Fall mein klarer Favorit geworden und lösen den "D'addario-Standard" ab.
