Clear yet mellow sound

I currently use these strings on a cheap Baton Rouge 12-string. The usual Bronze strings usually sound a little too harsh on this guitar.

The GHS 610, though, sound sparkly, brilliant and yet have a mellow quality to them, although they are light on the very bottom end of the frequency spectrum – if that's con for you depends on your specific preferences, I'd say.

Playability is amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend these strings. Just be aware that they are indeed coated in silver, so they will lose their shiny finish after a short period.

6 cordes ?

J'ai monté le jeu sur une Fender electro-accoustique qui a vu passer des cordes Fender, bien sur et aussi des Gibson (je ne suis pas sectaire) et pour le son et la jouabilité il n'y a pas photo. Les GHS donnent un son avec beaucoup plus de coffre et d?harmoniques, surtout amplifiée. Jouabilité plus fluide (j'ai l'impression que la tension des cordes est moins forte que sur un jeu classique et permet un meilleur placage sur le manche). Appréciations bien entendu toutes personnelles.
Un bémol ? Oui en fait on croit acheter un jeu pour 6 cordes mais c'est une pochette de 12 cordes. Je garde les cordes formant les ch½urs en secours pour mon autre électro acoustique 12 cordes mais en fait j'aurais du renvoyer le jeu.

Schmeichelnder Klang für meine Ohren

Mit meinen bisher verwendeten Saiten für meine 12saitige Gitarre
waren alle bis auf die von Dr. Thomastik (leider sehr teuer) nicht das, was ich gesucht habe. Durch Zufall wurde ich auf "silk and steel" Saiten aufmerksam. Ich habe mich aus der Auswahl verschiedener Hersteller spontan für ghs entschieden. Zum testen bestellt, aufgezogen und gespielt. Mich hat der weiche samtige Klang sofort überzeugt. Natürlich werde ich beim nächsten Saitensatz noch einen Satz eines anderen Herstellers aufziehen. Über die Haltbarkeit und Klangstabilität der ghs-Saiten kann ich noch nichts sagen. Ich bin jedenfalls momentan sehr zufrieden mit dem Klang meiner durchaus betagten Gitarre.

montées sur une folk premier prix ... changement radical de son ,
très très belle brillance très souple un touché très agréable et une résistance défiant des cordes bcp plus chères , deux tirants différents dans le lot possibilité de monter sur une 12 cordes vraiment très bon matériel
