This is a very nice guitar, with solid construction and finish. It's a bit on the heavy side, as is to be expected for a Les Paul, has good sustain, usable tuners, a nice chunky neck, and sounds good unplugged.
Setup out of the box was a bit dodgy, there was some rattling and intonation was off, but nothing that a bit of work couldn't fix.
The included case is nice but not great; careful: the inside is relentlessly pink.
Now for the absolute stars of the show: the Burstbucker pickups.
I know this is a matter of taste, but these are the best pickups I've ever heard in any guitar. I was expecting much, but was still pleasantly surprised. Sound is full and detailed, they are very responsive to playing dynamics, and overall just really, really take this guitar to another level.
Overall, if you are considering this guitar and are aware that it's a fifties style, chunky, heavy guitar for players with large hands and strong backs, then by all means get it, now. It's great.
