I am delighted with the Dorfler D6 ? bass bow. I read two reviews and used the compare function available. Initially I noticed a broken bow hair. The word Brazil was on the bag label so I am uncertain about the wood. The sound is amazing. I have been playing with French bow for over twelve years and have found the quality of sound more like a cello. With this bow the sound has a richer depth and louder volume which will be an advantage for my orchestral playing. The sound is inspiring me with the bow hold and arco/ pizz. changes.

Vergleich zwischen mehreren Bögen:

Natürlich ist so ein Vergleich immer sehr subjektiv... der Bogen muss zum Bass passen und zum Spieler.
Da ich Anfänger auf dem Kontrabass bin, habe ich die Bögen zusammen mit meinem Lehrer bewertet, sowohl auf meinem 1960er Sperrholz-Bass als auch auf seinem Voll-Massiv Bass.
Dabei war der D6 der klare Gewinner: Nicht nur Preis-Leistung sondern auch absolut vom Klang her. In den Höhen nicht ganz so warm, wie der D10, dafür sattere Tiefen, einwandfreie Ansprache. Deutlich besser als der Gewa Bogen. Den zweiten Platz hätte für mich der Junius und Roth mit Preis-Leistung gewonnen. Für 59€ wäre der ein Schnäppchen - aber dann habe ich mich doch entschlossen, zugunsten des Klangs mehr Geld zu investieren.
Ich denke, dass ich lange bei diesem Bogen bleiben werde!

Muy cómodo, me resultó de fácil manejo y daba un excelente sonido, aunque, en mi opinión es mejorable el acabado del encordado... Una rotura accidental me hizo plantearme el comprarlo de nuevo, aunque al final voy a probar con el D10.
