Beautiful looks and sound

I've always been a sucker for this style of guitar and I'm not disappointed with the D'Angelico. The sound is fantastic: it can be a jazz box if you want but the P90s deliver a range of tones from sparkly to growly and the sustain is great. It's a looker too - heads will turn.
Out of the box, the action was, for my taste, medium rather than low and the intonation could have been better but tweaking these was easy. I prefer lighter gauge strings than D'Angelico's 10 - 46 it came with (they were quality strings though). I put on a set of balanced D'Addario 9 - 40 and it sounds lovely.

Ha la belle dangelico deluxe 59 !

J'ai reçu un gros carton, très bon emballage bien protégé rien à redire. Case au top la rien a dire non plus .La guitare est belle, elle en impose ,prise en mains parfaite ,légère, manche parfait ,tout sonne bien,mais je m’aperçois assez rapidement de quelques détails navrant.le pickguard est très mal placé, trop haut au niveau des cordes de plus mal ajusté de plus la vis de réglage de hauteur du chevalet dépasse et pourrait me blesser la paume de la main !! Quelques manques de finitions au niveau de la tête, jonction du manche me laissent perplexe pour une guitare de ce prix ! !!!!!!bon,deux solutions la renvoyer ou bien la démonter et arranger tout ça. Je sais ce que vous pensez.La ,le gars y prend un risque. 3 heures plus tard le mal est réparé, non sans peines !pour le pickguard ça a été assez compliqué j’avoue, la vis du chevalet réglé en 10 minutes. Heureusement démonter pour moi une guitare n’est pas un problème, le bricolage non plus,seulement je me met à la place du gars qui n’à pas ces compétences ? A plus de 2000 euros je trouve ça un peu léger j’ai longtemps hésité avec une SA2200 yamaha pour moi maintenant plus de doutes les japonais font mieux. Malgré ces petits soucis la guitare fonctionne maintenant parfaitement
