mooie analoog geluid !

Ik had op oog : de Q-tron, deze en de shiny Supafunk. Ik wilde persé analoog. Omwille van prijs en youtube videos koos ik voor deze. Het geluid is inderdaad zo mooi als wordt gezegd. Heel vloeiend, geen ruis of clipping ofzo. Inspirerend. Goede prijs, deze hou ik ! Heeft voldoende in huis. ik ben wel onder de indruk van de kwaliteit van deze Carl Martin pedaal.
Noot achteraf : Ik vergeleek met digitale filter pedalen en de Ottowa is duidelijk een andere categorie filter. Zoals de envelope analoog opent en de EQ die dat geeft; dat is toch anders dan het soort filter effect van digitale pedalen. Ottowa staat er.

Für die einsame Insel

Mittlerweile besitze ich einige Autowahs bzw. Envelope Filter und es werden immer mehr;) Unter anderem den Vorgänger von Carl Martin, den Classic Optical Envelope. Darum habe ich nicht groß nachgedacht und das Ottawa direkt zu release gekauft. Kurz vorher habe ich nur noch den Bonedo Test gelesen, den ich nur bestätigen kann, er beschreibt das Pedal sehr gut.
Aus der Box direkt angeschlossen, klang es schon super gut. Das Ansprechverhalten ist extrem direkt, wenn die Saiten länger ausklingen wabert das Wah so gut wie nicht, das Tracking ist super präzise. Wenn man dann an den Reglern dreht passiert genau das, was man erwarten würde und das auch noch gut hörbar. Das ist bei den anderen Autowahs die ich bisher gespielt habe oft nicht so;)
Ansonsten macht es nichts besonderes, wie z.B. Spectrum, Robotalk oder Phonkphy. Aber das, was es macht (Autowah), macht es extrem gut, wie ich finde. Wenn ich also nur ein Autowah mit auf die einsame Insel nehmen kann, dann wandert das Ottawa ins Gepäck, klein genug ist es ja.

5 étoiles partout? Oui car une pédale de ce type à ce prix mérite une bonne cotation. La pédale est élégante et son concept de qualité son utilisation simple et multiple dans les sons. En remplacement d'une pédale au pied j'arrive une fois bien réglée à passer dans le mix sans peine. Nombreuses démos sur les réseaux vous démontrerons ses possibilités.
