Seydel 1841 Noble Low D, eine Klasse für sich

Habe schon mehrere, auch höherpreisige Harps in bzw. an Händen und Lippen gehabt, z.B. Hohner Thunderbird Low C. Die Seydel Noble Low D ist im Vergleich echt "nobel" - liegt dank des schweren, schwarzen Alukörpers gut in der Hand, leichte, kraftvolle Tonansprache, easy bending, perfekte Stimmung, auch im oberen Bereich, voller Klang, der unter die Haut geht. Die Stimmlage low D bzw. Em passt sehr gut für das Melodiespiel, Iris tunes, etc.
Die Edelstahl-Reeds bringen auf jeden Fall den Unterschied und halten hoffentlich sehr lange, dazu dann in ein paar Jahren mein abschließendes Urteil.

habe mir nach der in LC gestimmten Thunderbird von Hohner nun eine in LD gestimmte 1847 Noble von Seydel gekauft.
Die Verarbeitung der Seydel ist für meinen Geschmack zu robust. Den Kanzellenkörper empfinde ich als zu breit. Das Bending wird dadurch erschwert. Die Ansprache der Harp ist mäßig. Hoher Luftverbrauch in ersten vier Kanälen. Der Sound ist härter und lauter als bei der Thunderbird. Für mein Bluesspiel ist diese Harp eher nicht geeignet, weil dem Ton die Wärme von Holzkanzellen fehlt.
