If your sewitching from the RC 500, keep in mind you are going to be in a world of pain for a week or so. But rest assured, once you master this unit, you are flying. It really is the best loopper on the market. It just requires a lot, and I mean a lot of hours reading, and watching youtube tutorials. The paper manual is a joke. Is does not begin to describe the complexity that this unit can do. So if you want a "simple" looper, look somewhere else. If you want a complex machine than can do EVERYTHING.... go for it.
