Je l'ai pris en plus de mon archet bois. J'hésitais entre le carbone et la fibre, je suis très content de mon choix. Il sonne plutôt bien d'origine, mais un changement de mèche ne sera pas un luxe ! Un bon crin noir ou un crin synthétique lui ajoutera les petits plus (accroche, résistance... etc...), manquant au déballage.
De mon point de vue, il suffit amplement pour débuter et progresser pendant quelques années, du point de vue de mon prof, pareil, mais il le trouve très légèrement trop lourd en tête. Je ne suis pas contrebassiste professionnel, donc je suppose que cela doit être lié aux habitudes de jeu, le style, l'apprentissage, son niveau et la régularité de jeu, etc...
