Good allround model

The Vandoren V16 S7 is a very good allround mouthpiece for soprano sax.

The mouthpiece has a good intonation and the response is for an ebonit mouthpiece still o.k. You can get a variety of saxophone sound out of this peace (except classical but i do not play that kind of music) like a cool bossa sound but also harder styles like Bebop or Rock.

Looking at the mouthpiece ther are no manufacturing errors. The mouthpiece comes naked without a ligature. I personaly think the V16 Optimum ligature is a excellent choice to combine with the mouthpiece. I also use V16 reeds on the mouthpiece and they also work very good.

The greatest advantage for me is that I have the total control of Intontion of the Saxophone.

Allrounder mit Schwächen

Im oberen Bereich lässt sich das Mundstück gut spielen und klinkt brilliant mit gutem Ton. Im unteren Bereich ist viel Luft zu hören und die Ansprache kommt merklich ab. Getestet mit Vandoren Java(grün) Stärke 2 1/2 und 3. Für mich insgesamt zu unterschiedlich zwischen tiefer und hoher Lage. Deshalb ging es zurück.

C'est la première fois que je joue un bec Vandoren pour sax
et j'ai été surpris par la vitesse d'acclimatation à celui-ci.
Joué avec anches Rico 2S select jazz unfiled.
Par contre ,un peu moins d'expressivité que le bec Otto Link
6* et meme anche
