Vandoren V16 Soprano Sax S7

The Vandoren V16 S7 is a very good allround mouthpiece for soprano sax.

The mouthpiece has a good intonation and the response is for an ebonit mouthpiece still o.k. You can get a variety of saxophone sound out of this peace (except classical but i do not play that kind of music) like a cool bossa sound but also harder styles like Bebop or Rock.

Looking at the mouthpiece ther are no manufacturing errors. The mouthpiece comes naked without a ligature. I personaly think the V16 Optimum ligature is a excellent choice to combine with the mouthpiece. I also use V16 reeds on the mouthpiece and they also work very good.


The greatest advantage for me is that I have the total control of Intontion of the Saxophone.
